GeekMe TCG 5.0(25)

GeekMe is recorded at 2555 Western Ave in Schenectady, NY 12303. On the Schenectady page, which lists 4 shops (3 independent, 1 chain), this listing sits first. Order on a city page comes from rating shrunk toward the site-wide average by review volume, so a 5.0 from nine reviews does not automatically lead. GeekMe posts hours for all seven days. The record carries a phone number and a website, so there are two ways to check something before setting out. The closest other cities with listings are Albany, about 7 miles out with 6 shops, and Clifton Park at roughly 8 miles.

Measured from its coordinates, the nearest other shops in the directory are GameStop (under a mile) and Sports Zone (4 miles). The directory files this listing under trading card games. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. Statewide, New York accounts for 253 independent listings spread over 144 cities, plus 100 chain locations. Its 5.0-star Google rating rests on 25 reviews, the third-largest review count of the 3 rated listings in Schenectady. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
