These terms cover your use of cardshophub.com. Using the site means accepting them. They are short because the site is simple: it is a free, public directory of card shops with no accounts and nothing to buy.
What the directory is
Card Shop Hub lists trading card game and sports card shops in the United States, compiled from public business data and cleaned up by hand. Every page is provided as-is. We work at keeping it accurate and we fix what gets reported, but we do not warrant that any address, phone number, set of opening hours, website, category or rating is correct or current at the moment you read it. The site carries a "data as of" date rather than a per-listing verification date, because no listing is individually re-checked on a schedule. Confirm with the shop before you travel.
No relationship with listed businesses
A listing is not an endorsement, a partnership, an affiliation or a recommendation, and it does not mean the business asked to be listed or knows that it is. Card Shop Hub is not a party to anything that happens between you and a shop. We are not responsible for any purchase, sale, trade, grading outcome, event, injury or dispute arising from a visit to a listed business, and we do not mediate them.
Rankings and ordering
Where shops are ordered by quality — the "Best Card Shops" pages, and the order of listings within a city — the order is computed from public Google ratings weighted by review volume. It is an arithmetic ordering of third-party ratings, not an assessment by us, and nobody from Card Shop Hub has visited these shops. National chains and venues that are not card shops as such are excluded from those rankings. No placement, ranking position or inclusion is for sale, and no payment of any kind affects them.
Listings: additions, corrections and removal
Listing is free. Shop owners and representatives can request a correction, an image change or complete removal at any time through the contact form or at admin@cardshophub.com, and we act on those without charge or conditions. Anyone can report an error the same way.
Acceptable use
You may browse, link to and quote from this site freely. You may not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, republish the dataset wholesale as your own directory, or use the contact and suggestion forms to send automated, commercial or abusive messages. We block crawlers that ignore the robots file.
Content on this site
The written pages, the compiled directory and the site's design are ours. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and appear here to identify the business. Product and game names — Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and others — are the trademarks of their respective publishers, none of whom is affiliated with this site.
Advertising and other services
The site is funded by advertising, which is served through Google AdSense; see the privacy policy for what that involves. We separately sell website builds to card shops through For Shop Owners. That is a distinct paid service with its own arrangements, and buying it or not buying it has no effect on any directory listing or ranking.
Liability
The site is provided without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it or from the accuracy of any listing.
Changes
These terms may be updated. The version on this page is the one in force, and continued use of the site after a change means accepting it.
