Our Mission

Card Shop Hub is a directory of trading card game (TCG) and sports card shops in the United States. Our mission is to connect collectors, players, and enthusiasts with local card shops in their area.

Where This Data Comes From

Listings are compiled from public business data and cleaned up by hand. The directory snapshot on the site is dated August 2026 — that is when the data was last refreshed, not a claim that every listing was re-checked on that date. Individual shops do not carry a per-listing verification date, so hours and phone numbers can go stale between refreshes. Call ahead before you drive somewhere.

Every listing has an address and a map link. 6,379 of 6,844 have a phone number and 5,839 have posted hours. Where we do not have a field, we leave it out rather than filling it in.

What We Leave Out, and How We Rank

Some businesses that turn up in card-shop searches are not card shops: coin-only dealers, auto parts stores, vape and smoke shops, and vending machines. Those are removed from the directory outright. A second group — pawn shops, antique malls, flea markets, thrift and consignment stores, and card vending machines — may genuinely have a card case, so they stay listed but are never eligible for a "best shops" ranking.

National chains (GameStop and similar) are listed, but grouped separately and excluded from every ranking, so they cannot crowd out a local store. That is why our counts lead with independent shops: 4,499 independents and 2,345 chain locations.

Best Shops pages rank by a Bayesian average of each shop's Google rating, weighted by how many reviews back it up — so a 5.0 from eight reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from two thousand. It is a ranking of public ratings, not a ranking of shops we have personally visited.

Corrections

If a shop has closed, moved, or has the wrong hours, email hello@cardshophub.com or send us the details. Corrections are the fastest way to improve the directory and we read every one.

How This Site Is Funded

Card Shop Hub is free to use and carries advertising (Google AdSense). Shops cannot pay for a listing, for a higher ranking, or to have a competitor removed.

We also build websites for card shops as a separate, paid service. It is a build-and-hand-over job, not a subscription: the domain is registered in the shop's name, every file and login is transferred at the end, and there is no monthly bill. It has no bearing on the directory — buying a website does not change a shop's listing or its ranking, and never being a customer does not cost a shop anything here.
