Papago Sportscards Sports

The address on file for Papago Sportscards is 6730 E McDowell Rd #102, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Scottsdale holds 8 listings here — 7 independent shops and 1 national chain location — and this one appears sixth on that page. Order on a city page comes from rating shrunk toward the site-wide average by review volume, so a 5.0 from nine reviews does not automatically lead. The directory files this listing under sports cards. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. The two closest listings to it are Westbrook Sports Classics, 2 miles away, and AMS Sports Cards in Tempe at 3 miles. No Google rating is attached to this record, so it is not scored on the best shops in Arizona page, which ranks on rating weighted by review volume.

Statewide, Arizona accounts for 102 independent listings spread over 29 cities, plus 54 chain locations. The closest other cities with listings are Fountain Hills, about 10 miles out with 1 shop, and Phoenix at roughly 10 miles. There is a phone number on this listing but no website. That is the common case: 3 of Scottsdale's 8 listings have no site on file either. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
