RIP Valley Sports 4.7(92)

The address on file for RIP Valley is 1014 N 2nd St Suite 2, Phoenix, AZ 85004. Its 4.7-star Google rating rests on 92 reviews, the seventh-largest review count of the 13 rated listings in Phoenix. Phoenix holds 27 listings here — 16 independent shops and 11 national chain locations — and this one appears third on that page. Order on a city page comes from rating shrunk toward the site-wide average by review volume, so a 5.0 from nine reviews does not automatically lead. The record carries a phone number and a website; 20 of Phoenix's 27 listings have a website on file. If Phoenix comes up short, Glendale (14 shops, ~8 mi) and Scottsdale (~10 mi) are the nearest alternatives on file.

23 of the 27 Phoenix listings carry posted hours at all, so this is one of the more complete records in the city. Statewide, Arizona accounts for 102 independent listings spread over 29 cities, plus 54 chain locations. The posted schedule runs 6 days a week, with Tuesday listed as closed. The directory files this listing under sports cards. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
