Freeman's Sports Cards & Collectibles Sports 3.5(6)

This listing places Freeman's Sports Cards & Collectibles at 721 3rd Ave in Huntington, WV 25701. Hours are posted for 5 of the seven days; Saturday and Sunday are marked closed. The closest other cities with listings are Barboursville, about 7 miles out with 1 shop, and Hurricane at roughly 23 miles. Huntington holds 3 listings here — 2 independent shops and 1 national chain location — and this one appears second on that page. Order on a city page comes from rating shrunk toward the site-wide average by review volume, so a 5.0 from nine reviews does not automatically lead. Of the 3 Huntington listings carrying a rating, this one is third by review count, with 6 behind its 3.5 stars.

Two other listings sit close by: GameStop, under a mile off, and Who's On First? at under a mile. There is a phone number on this listing but no website. That is the common case: 1 of Huntington's 3 listings has no site on file either. West Virginia as a whole has 23 independent shops on file across 18 cities and 19 chain locations alongside them. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
