Card Shops in Wisconsin

Wisconsin's leaderboard is the opposite of what the population map suggests. Green Bay holds 9 independent card shops and Appleton another 7, while Milwaukee — the state's largest city — carries 3. The Fox Valley, not Milwaukee, is where this directory's Wisconsin coverage is thickest.

Statewide there are 100 independents against 36 chain locations, a chain share of only 26%. 13 of the 73 listed cities are chain-only and 45 hold exactly one listing.

Classification runs 97 trading card games to 49 sports cards with 10 under both. Monday closing is unusually common: 35 of the 120 shops with posted hours list Monday as closed, against 26 for Sunday.

Every Wisconsin entry carries an address and a map link; 132 carry a phone number, 120 post hours, and 111 link to a website. 115 have a Google rating attached, which is what the ranking on each list page is built from. Stock, buy prices and event nights are not fields in this dataset, so nothing here can tell you what is in a case today. BMW Sportscards in Madison (5.0 stars from 2,694 reviews), The Crimson Guild in Wauwatosa (5.0 stars from 184 reviews), and Price's Collectibles in Greendale (4.9 stars from 322 reviews) lead the rating-weighted ranking.

Only 38 Wisconsin listings are thin enough to be kept out of search results. 115 of the 136 carry a Google rating and 132 a phone number, both high shares. With the deepest coverage in the Fox Valley rather than Milwaukee, the largest-cities shortcuts at the top of this page are worth reading before the A–Z index below.
