MadRat Toys TCG 3.5(120)

The address on file for MadRat Toys is 1570 S Dairy Ashford Rd Unit 107, Houston, TX 77077. The directory files this listing under trading card games. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. Two other listings sit close by: Galaxy Gaming, under a mile off, and Heroes Collectables at under a mile. Across the week the earliest listed opening is 11 AM and the latest listed close is 10 PM. 120 Google reviews back the 3.5-star figure — seventh by volume among Houston's 22 rated shops. The closest other cities with listings are Jacinto City, about 12 miles out with 1 shop, and Sugar Land at roughly 16 miles.

The posted schedule runs 6 days a week, with Tuesday listed as closed. Both a phone number and a website are on file, which puts this listing among the 40 of 52 in Houston that link out to a site of their own. Texas as a whole has 366 independent shops on file across 143 cities and 283 chain locations alongside them. Posted hours exist for 44 of Houston's 52 listings, this one included. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
