Checkpoint Games TCG 5.0(43)

This listing places Checkpoint Games at 1606 E Dixon Blvd Suite E in Shelby, NC 28152. The record carries a phone number and a website, so there are two ways to check something before setting out. If Shelby comes up short, Kings Mountain (1 shop, ~13 mi) and Forest City (~16 mi) are the nearest alternatives on file. The two closest listings to it are GameStop, under a mile away, and Collectors Quest in Kings Mountain at 13 miles. Shelby holds 2 listings here — 1 independent shop and 1 national chain location — and this one appears first on that page. That order is a rating weighted by review count, not alphabetical and not by distance.

Checkpoint Games posts hours for all seven days. Of the 2 Shelby listings carrying a rating, this one is second by review count, with 43 behind its 5.0 stars. The directory files this listing under trading card games. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. North Carolina as a whole has 121 independent shops on file across 63 cities and 102 chain locations alongside them. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
