The Gathering Place TCG 4.8(277)

The address on file for The Gathering Place is 157 E Rosemary St 2nd Floor, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. 6 days carry posted hours here, and Monday does not. The directory files this listing under trading card games. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. Its own name or description also points to Magic: The Gathering. Statewide, North Carolina accounts for 211 independent listings spread over 93 cities, plus 98 chain locations. If Chapel Hill comes up short, Durham (11 shops, ~8 mi) and Hillsborough (~11 mi) are the nearest alternatives on file. It is the only listing in Chapel Hill with a Google rating attached, 4.8 stars from 277 reviews.

Measured from its coordinates, the nearest other shops in the directory are Atomic Empire (6 miles) and GameStop (6 miles). The widest the posted week gets is 11 AM at one end and 10 PM at the other. It is the single Chapel Hill entry in the directory — no other shop in the city is on file. The record carries a phone number and a website, so there are two ways to check something before setting out. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
