Collectors Exchange Sports 4.4(23)

Collectors Exchange is recorded at WE'RE ALWAYS BUYING - APPOINTMENT ONLY - NO IN STORE SHOPPING - PLEASE CALL 2821, N Oakwood Ave in Muncie, IN 47304. 7 of the 8 Muncie listings carry posted hours at all, so this is one of the more complete records in the city. The record carries a phone number and a website; 6 of Muncie's 8 listings have a website on file. Statewide, Indiana accounts for 116 independent listings spread over 69 cities, plus 55 chain locations. There are 8 card shops on file in Muncie, 7 of them independent; this is the seventh entry in that list. That order is a rating weighted by review count, not alphabetical and not by distance.

The directory files this listing under sports cards. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. Two other listings sit close by: Three Strikes Sports Cards & Hobby, under a mile off, and All Star Sports Cards at 5 miles. Of the 8 Muncie listings carrying a rating, this one is fifth by review count, with 23 behind its 4.4 stars. The widest the posted week gets is 10 AM at one end and 5 PM at the other. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
