Jayedax Trading Post TCG

The address on file for Jayedax Trading Post is 20 Evans St Apt 4B, Iowa City, IA 52245. A phone number is recorded; a website is not, which makes the phone the only direct route here. There is no rating or review count on file here, which keeps the shop out of the rating-based ranking used on the Iowa best-shops list. This listing has no posted hours. 1 of the 3 shops we list in Iowa City does. Iowa City holds 3 listings here — 2 independent shops and 1 national chain location — and this one appears first on that page. That order is a rating weighted by review count, not alphabetical and not by distance.

Statewide, Iowa accounts for 47 independent listings spread over 32 cities, plus 14 chain locations. Measured from its coordinates, the nearest other shops in the directory are TSM Sportscards (3 miles) and GameStop (3 miles). The directory files this listing under trading card games. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. If Iowa City comes up short, Cedar Rapids (4 shops, ~23 mi) and Muscatine (~28 mi) are the nearest alternatives on file. None of this covers what is actually on the shelves. The directory stores contact and location data only, so anything about current stock is a phone call away.
