The Mana Republic TCG

The address on file for The Mana Republic is 28 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037. The directory files this listing under trading card games. That is a classification applied to the business record, not the result of anyone checking a display case. Statewide, Connecticut accounts for 119 independent listings spread over 68 cities, plus 24 chain locations. The closest other cities with listings are New Britain, about 4 miles out with 2 shops, and Newington at roughly 5 miles. There is no rating or review count on file here, which keeps the shop out of the rating-based ranking used on the Connecticut best-shops list.

Hours are posted for 4 of the seven days; Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are marked closed. Measured from its coordinates, the nearest other shops in the directory are Dragon's Lair - Berlin (1 mile) and Connecticut Hobby (1 mile). There are 4 card shops on file in Berlin; this is the fourth entry in that list. Order on a city page comes from rating shrunk toward the site-wide average by review volume, so a 5.0 from nine reviews does not automatically lead. What the directory does not hold is inventory: there is no record here of what is in the case on a given day, which sets are open, or what the shop pays for cards. Call before you drive.
