Card Shops in Akron, Ohio

Akron, Ohio has 5 card shops in our directory — 2 are filed under trading card games and 3 under sports cards. Every listing has an address and a Google Maps link; 5 of 5 also have a phone number and 4 have posted hours.

4 of the 5 are independent and 1 belongs to a national chain. The chain location is kept out of the main grid and collected at the bottom. Looking at the 4 posted schedules here: 2 are open every day of the week, 1 closes on Mondays, and 2 close on Sundays. Statewide, Ohio has 198 independent listings across 125 cities, plus 97 chain locations listed separately. Ranked by independent count, Akron is fifth of the 125 Ohio cities that have an independent shop on file.

All 5 listings carry a Google rating. The highest-scoring independent once review volume is taken into account is Kurt’s Cards, at 4.7 stars from 45 reviews. Websites are patchier than phone numbers here — 3 of 5 have one on file — and a blank field means the source record had nothing, not that the shop lacks one. The nearest other cities with shops on file are Barberton (1 shop, about 6 miles), North Canton (3 shops, about 8 miles), and Mogadore (1 shop, about 10 miles). The directory holds no inventory data for any of these shops, so what is in the case on a given afternoon is not something this page can answer. Our guide to finding a good card shop covers what to ask on the phone, and the starter guide covers the rest.
