Best Card Shops in Maryland

Maryland has 122 independent card shops in our directory, plus 37 national chain locations. Of all 159 listings, chains included, 120 are classified under TCG and 49 under sports cards (a listing filed under both counts in each). The ranking below covers independents only, scored by rating and review volume.

The order below is a Bayesian average of each shop's Google rating. Every rating is blended with the directory-wide mean of 4.44 stars, weighted as if 15 extra reviews sat at that mean, so a rating backed by a handful of reviews is pulled toward the average and a rating backed by hundreds barely moves. Of 122 eligible independents in Maryland, 106 carry a rating and review count, and the top 20 of those make the page. The 20 shops come from 16 different cities, led by Hagerstown (5). Every shop on this page is an independent; Maryland's 37 national chain locations are left out of the scoring entirely rather than ranked low.

By directory category the list splits 18 under trading card games and 2 under both. Ratings on the list span 4.8 to 5.0 stars, on review counts from 30 to 565 (median 165). You can see the weighting in the order: Third Eye Games & Hobbies, on 4.9 stars from 565 reviews, ranks above Infinite Comics & Cards, on 5.0 from 30 reviews. Nobody from Card Shop Hub has visited these shops; the list reflects Google ratings and nothing else, so treat it as a shortlist to call. The full set of listings is on the Maryland state page.
